Better than segs
These are longer lasting than the metal segs, wearing less quickly.

A proper stick
2 of 2 found this helpful The photos don't do this stick justice. It is much stouter than I expected. The "knob" is also bigger, and the ferrule is much sturdier than the ones you see on the commercial walking poles. The stick is incredibly tactile and comfortable to hold, with an adjustable (tie a knot in it) support lace. It is already an heirloom before it leaves the house.

Brilliant quality, but much too big
The harness is terrific quality: good quality material and well-padded for comfort. However, it is much, much too big. We bought a "small" -- the smallest size available for our Jack Russell and she can walk straight out of it. We've had to add an extra velcro strap round the neck and modified the belly band just to make it fit. We've had three occasions when she walked right out of it on busy roads. Wearing it, she is very reminiscent of a pantomime horse.
This is so unfortunate because the harness is such good quality.
