30 metre hose reel that doesn't hold a 30 metre hose.
0 of 1 found this helpful Purchased a 30 metre hose and then the Hozelock 2410 reel to hold it. When the hose is fully wound on to the reel, it jams against the upper handle. Suspect that I need to cut off about 2 metres of hose to make it fit. Suggests that the 30 meters is a marginal value and the reel needs to have a greater capacity to accommodate the hose as advertised. Unless of course Hozelock have extended the 30 meter hose by some length.
The reel itself is plastic and seems a little flimsy. You need to put a foot on one of the lower legs in addition to holding the upper handle as you wind up the hose to make it stable as you use it.
