A Dream Come True
I was totally shocked when I saw that this Rotel RCD-955AX was being sold for this price, even if it is "vintage" and previously owned. The CD player is in very good working order, and when I hooked it up to my Micca RB42X speakers, it played flawlessly. The sound is amazing, like I hoped it would be. I have been cognizant of the Rotel products for many years and only dreamed of being able to afford them. So, when I saw the price they were being sold for, I acted as quickly as possible to secure it because I have a large Classical music CD collection, and this would deck would be fantastic.

Spendid Set in Every Way
This recording of the Sibelius complete Symphonies is the best available. I also have the Davis/Boston Symphony set, another outstanding set, but this Blomstedt/SFSO set is outstanding in every way.

Completion of the Best Series of the Symphonies of Nielsen
I purchased this CD to complete the series of the Nielsen symphonies by Blomstedt and the SFSO that I already had. The recording did not disappoint in any way. These recordings are recognized as the best available in every sense; interpretation, orchestral sound, sonics, and audio engineering. I own the vinal set of these symphonies that Blomstedt did earlier with the Danish National Orchesta, but they don't compare to the ones with the SFSO.
