Microwave grilling cooking browning plate
So I was excited to try my new kitchen gadget mainly for less time, mess and fat needed versus a frying pan. Was I right to be excited...no.
I followed the instructions that came with the goods to the letter, of warming the plate first and smearing a little oil on the plate. I placed 2 slices of bacon on the plate and the lid on top. According to the instructions a full English breakfast only takes a couple of minutes, bacon, sausage & fried egg so I thought 2 slices of bacon would be a breeze.
I think it was about 4+ minutes I had to cook them for before they were ready and by then the edges had started turning up as they were probably over-cooked at this point.
As the handles stick out a fair bit the item wouldn't turn in the microwave due to lack of space, maybe my microwave is a bit small, I don't know.
I have only tried the product once, so I will give it another try before I condemn it to the back of the kitchen cupboard, but so far it doesn't do what it says and I wouldn't recommend it.

Better than we were expecting for the price
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product, as much more sturdy than we expected. A great stand for the price, very happy to recommend.

Medium sized freezer bags
Good bags for the price and a good size. I always end up buying bags that are either too small or too big, but these are just about right for our family needs. Can fit a sandwich in (or two) with enough room to tie a much needed knot.
