Shake out your soul with this raw , vintage sound
If there were ten stars in the ratings, I would give this album a ten!An authentic sound of raw music, nothing synthetic, just four people- singer Ty Taylor with an amazing voice, Nalle Colt guitarist ,literally speaks with his guitar , bass player Rick Bario Dill makes his instrument growl and beat with your heartbeat and Richard Danielson the drummer takes you on a wild ride completely out of the box . The first track is Blues Hand Me Down, and the first sound you heard when they played on Jools Holland's Later was this incredible , energetic get up out of your chair and dance track.Nobody Told Me and Not Alright By Me will make you weep with emotion, they are so beautiful and meaningful. The sweaty, hot upbeat Jezzebella is a complete contrast of sexiness and fun. A beautiful ballad, called Gracefully , is the perfect love song,Usually the final song on the cd is a bit tired, but Run Outta You ia absolutely legendary, you think it can't get any better than the beginning, and then it does- the guitar solo stands as one of our generations perfect classics, you'll want to keep it on repeat .
This is definitely a sing-out-loud song when you are driving in your car, a wonderful party record (especially if you get the authentic vinyl version) to get everyone moving , but also meaningful songs in between all the upbeat ones.
The album is a taster for the life-changing live shows, where the audience comes dressed up all smart, and soon get involved in the shows.
Although the flavour is vintage and retro, the sentiments and skills are completely relevant to today, right now.If you like the voice of Otis Redding, mixed with the sound of Stevie Ray Vaughn , or the Who's John Alec Entwhistle then Vintage Trouble is the sound for you .Enjoy the album !
