Leather repair..... yes it works!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had some scuffs on the leather of the door arm rest on drivers side which showed up as dark scratches on the light leather. No idea what caused them but I always noticed them.
I didn't really hold out much hope for this product, but thought it was worth a try.
A few coats with drying time in between .........and the marks are covered completely and the match is perfect! I was not using the car for a period whilst I was away so it had a good time to dry before use.
So far so good.

Perfect replacement BMW part
Needed a new tailgate switch as old one had stopped working. You can't order one from BMW without going to a dealer, ordering and then going back to collect....which was for me very inconvenient. Checked what I needed online and then searched ebay. Found this one. Sellers information for models was excellent and matched BMW parts numbers. This is a new design of switch and feels much improved over the old one. Fitting is easy, just put some insulation tape around small flat bladed electrical screwdriver so you don't scratch the paintwork, release the 4 catches, remove and pull out the one electrical connection. Works perfectly.

Rust stain removal from patio
The feet on some garden furniture had gone rusty and left marks on our sandstone patio. Furniture repainted and rubber bottoms added, but stubborn stains looked awful. Researched on internet and Oxalic acid was suggested. Wet paving well first, made up a paste/slurry with a bit of water in a plastic cup and spread it on stains with an old spoon. Left it for 10 minutes and then washed off with lots of water. Most of the stains had gone. Repeated on the more stubborn ones and all gone. Great result and a very cheap way of doing it compared to the commercial ready made products. Please observe sensible safety precautions, wear gloves and eye protection.
