GOD OF WAR Collection Remastered in HD - PlayStation 3 PS3 ~ Brand New

    Excellent Remaster
Fantastic remaster, plays very well. Some hiccups in areas with lots of mobs, but not very often. I've almost completed the first game, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it! Only shame is that not all of the cutscenes were remastered in GoW1

An adventure with a touch of fantasy!
Having read the first 2 books of "The Last Dragon" chronicles, I wanted to read on. "Fire Star" is the third book in the series, detailing David Rain's attempt to unravel the mysteries of the universe and dragonkind. The book flows fabulously, and d'Lacey uses cross-cutting very effectively; the reader can recall previous scenes with ease and find the links between each setting. d'Lacey's only fault is the pace. Parts 1-2 were steady and comfortable (but not without tension and wonder); midway through Part 3, the tale took on a very fast pace, speeding towards the finish line. Here things became obvious - you could work out exactly what was going to happen. d'Lacey appears to have recognised this, for he sped up the action and brought it to the climax as soon as possible. The ending of "Fire Star" was very well-written. Before the epilogue, it seems as though continuation of the series would be very hard, yet d'Lacey manages to leave the reader hanging by a thread in the very last sentence. Overall, a fantastic read with a lot of twists that will keep the reader gripped and wanting to find out more. I would definitely recommend this series to anybody who loves adventure with a hint of fantasy!
