His official fiancee - classic romance novel
It's a classic romance novel that ticks all the boxes - well educated girl who has fallen on hard times has to pretend to be her boss's fiancée but (spoiler!!) falls for him for real. I read it as a kid in another language and i finally managed to track down the English language original. Hooray!

Gauche the Cellist
A very nice movie, charming, funny and quirky. I had been looking for it for a while, but I had to put it off until I got a multistandard DVD player, as the DVDs aimed at the European market were way too expensive. This version is in Japanese and it has Japanese, Korean and English subtitles so it's just the job.

World of Reading Star Wars The Fight in the Forest
Star Wars children's book (6 - 8 years old I would say) about the lightsaber duel between Rey and Kylo Ren in the final bit of The Force Awakens. I bought it for myself as I love that scene because of its haunting beauty - the setting and choreography, the passion and the chemistry between the two protagonists are movie gold, and when I saw pictures of the illustrations on Star Wars fan sites and blogs I fell in love with them and I knew I just had to have this book - the artwork is beautiful, with clean lines and soft colours. I will use it to practice my very rusty drawing skills!
