Poor build quality, unreliable for price
1 of 5 found this helpful Works well enough software wise, but build quality appears to be inconsistent (judging by the positive reviews). The one I received bugs out regularly and is based entirely on the physical position of the item. This can be extremely frustrating as some of the random pushes are modifier keys, which can cause all kinds of havoc.
While I cannot be 100% sure it is because of this item, the two USB ports on the computer I have been using it with have become unreliable and cannot transfer large amounts of data (through thumb drive, for example) without fatal errors. A third USB port right next to them that I have not used for this item is working perfectly.
I am typing while using it right now and can duplicate the problem simply by jiggling the cord, it will even continue tizZxxxx|. |eeq|zxx|DZX|DZXZe|Z|DZXqxxx (this does not include the bookmarks and spellchecks it just pulled up on its own)
