Get the hump.
The sublime beauty that is The Snow Goose, the dazzling brilliance that is Raindances, and the melodic majesty of Moonmadness, made it difficult to appreciate this album when originally purchased. Time, the disappointing output after Nude, the death of Peter Bardens, and the departure of Andy Ward, has cast this album in a new light, and made its possession, necessary if not wholly essential.

Fandtastic!
As each subsequent decade goes by, devoid of true musical inventiveness and originality, one realizes how exceptional The Enid were, and with their most recent offering Us, remain. Complacency, and a surfeit of talent, even at the backend of the 70s, meant that the true genius of Robert Godfrey and company, was perhaps never fully recognized by the great unwashed.
