A new suspect is persuasively identified.
The writer presents and names a 'new suspect': not - as has happened with some other studies in Ripperology - one that has been chosen circumstantially, but someone who has been in plain sight in reports. There is also supporting evidence based on local geography as it relates to the suspect.
I have not read any crit. or comment on this book, but I am impressed. The writer presents his case rationally, without sensationalism, and readably. There are insights into the police and medical methods of the time, and how a lack of understanding of the nature of the killer misdirected investigation in a way one would like to think would not happen today.
Ghouls may not be impressed by the illustrations which do not include (for example) the usual Mary Kelly murder scene photograph (though there is another more informative photo from that incident).
At first sight it did seem a stretch to link the Whitechapel murders with the Thames torso murders, but a case is made out for this.
To rate it as "amazing" may also be a stretch: but I'm glad to have read it.

Good
It is plain silly to have printed this in paperback size from a magazine-sized original. The font is impossibly small. I appreciate that it's not your publication, but I don't see any indication of the layout on the sale details.
I have not used the product but have to tick the box as though I have.
