Perfect for using with lighting controls.

Bought for use with a Zero 88 lighting desk. Most important feature, in this context, is the ability to configure the pads as notes that are either momentary or latched with the pad light changing when the pad is active. A special bonus is that the colour of the light, both on and off, is also configurable. Perfect for this use and I will be posting on the Zero 88 forum to tell other users about it.

Quick and easy to load. Holds the film well and goes through my auto feed scanner with no problems.

Nice kit but reservations.

The soldering iron is great. I've had the equivalent Antex iron for over 20 years. It's still usable but tatty so I bought the kit as a treat. The other items are all useful but not as good quality as the iron, the rubber handle on the snips is already slipping and I wouldn't use the meter for anything except continuity checking (I have other, better, meters). Haven't tried the flat pack stand - still using my old one. Disappointed at the omission of wire strippers. However, this does pack most of what you need for a quick soldering job in one place and saves hunting through tool bags to get everything together.
