Heavyweight with great features

Memories

This really takes me back to Brighton in the sixties. Especially the background shots of West Pier, which is now a burned out skeleton of its former glory. Shame on Brighton & Hove for not doing something with it! What it doesn't do is recall where the mods had razors on the sides of their ties and the rockers used bike chains. These clashes were much more than the fisticuffs shown on the film. The second disc was really informative and I was amazed how many of the cast had gone on to forge careers on the telly. All in all a timeless piece I will watch over and over.
