It goes with another
Bought this as it was part of a book discussion when we discovered the book jackets matched with Stephen King desperation

Pentax Option S60
I do a lot Of Photography using a DSLR, I also Cycle so to combine the two without carting a cumbersome Camera bag I was looking for a small reliable Camera I could fit in by Pocket and still get good Photographs
After some research on FLICKR I noticed The Pentax Optio Series seemed to be producing acceptable shots.It is powered by a Rechargeable Lithium Battery a spare can always be found on E-BAY It has an SD memory Card slot an some internal Memory.
Both Spare Battery and SD card are recommended if you take Photography seriously
It has a lot of scene modes in camera from converting to B&W to special occasion shooting
So there you have it Pentax quality With the ease of transport It will now be with me (even if I am not planning a trip)all the time you never know what will happen day to day I can now do my much loved Candid shots In Cafe's and Bars also Landscape and Portraits with ease and the knowledge I am going to get Great results

Canon 18-55mm IS A class act
The Canon 18-55mm IS is simply a fantastic lens.
I have Hardly had it of my Camera and as I have an 18MP camera the Max f Stop of 3.5 is not really a problem.
When we are out and about Photographers like to carry as little as possible I just pick up the Camera with the 18-55 put in under m coat and I am off
I bought it to compliment my Canon Body which I also bought on E-BAY
I Like the build quality and Image Stabiliser It is Light but great quality.
It would be a problem if you wanted to use a polarizing filter for the Lens as when focusing the end of the lens rotates so a filter Kit like a cokin would be suitable
Of course with the IS it is the best 18-55mm lens out there and cannot compare with the equivalent Nikon
