The Spectrals - Extended Play EP
Superb production, Fantastic guitar and grainy ( but superb ) drums but only average songs i'm afraid. it is very 60's inspired and the production is similar to Phil Spectre, which is Awesome but the tunes lack in parts and the vocals are quite poor on certain tracks, but thats not the point. the fact that i am looking for musics imperfections rather than the annoying X Factor style Drivel thats forced down our ears on a daily basis, make this an enchanting listen and besides, some of historys greatest bands contained Sub-Par vocalists anyway and these guys are very creative. i couldnt care less how bad the vocals can get, they suit this style of music well and i would recommend it to anyone who wants some imperfection in thier lives. If you like The Horrors then you should be well into this kind of thing,

    Bizzy B - Dubplates
Everything you've come to expect from this Legendary Producer, Splintering Amens, Murky mentazm Stabs and Blistering basslines abound. This is the sound of a producer at the top of his game and despite being at the birth of the Ardkore Jungle Tekno scene back in the early 1990's, he shows no signs of relinquishing his crown just yet. From the reggae tinged opening of 'Skylarking', the crazy Amen fuelled mayhem of 'Stop The Badboy' right through to the Piano/Breaks led 'Big People'and the soothing, yet decieving Breakbeat monster that is 'Deep Endz, this album is a fast paced, Old Skool flavoured beast from beginning to end. If your familiar with Bizzy B then you know what to expect, if not then be prepared for a journey filled with every emotion you can muster. 13 Tracks ( YES 13 ) of the very best in Jungle Warfare, designed for Bassbins with a high tolerence. Worth every penny of your hard earned cash, and then some, show some respect to a true Pioneer and BUY IT NOW...... Its what your Bassbins are craving.
