Wilco Johnson - Fantastic album including great live tracks

I saw Wilko live last year and meant to purchase some of his music afterwards. This album is a great compilation to get started with and I absolutely love it. I have played this a number of times since delivered and already know that it will sit in the frequently played section of my collection. If you love Dr Feelgood you will love this. Wilko Johnson was Dr. Feelgood’s guitarist and songwriter for their first four albums from 1974-77 during the height of the Pub Rock scene. Since then he’s taken his trademark brand of Canvey Island Blues around the world, both live and on record. This album contains the highlights of Wilko’s solo career It also, including versions of four of his Dr. Feelgood classics. The album boasts a bonus to this 2 LP version, five exclusive tracks from a live 2005 show with his Blockheads rhythm section of Norman Watt-Roy and Monti are included (they are great too). The album sleeve includes a 2,500-word biography by Time Out’s Jim Driver. I recommend this one for any Blues/Rock 'n' Roll fans
