Awesome CD!
2 of 2 found this helpful The Tricksters are in top form and get an A+ on crafting this muscular rock. "My Gang," and "Girlfriends," rev up the power. My favorite is the melodic, "You're All I Wanna Do." That song has incredible vocals and a great ending. Other standouts for me include, "Let Her Go" and "Tell Me Everything." I loved all the songs. Robin's voice deepened compared to previous CDs. It continues to be the best voice in rock. His tone, power, emotion, and versatility are amazing. The guitars are heavy and Bun E. let's thoes drums have it.
When CT was with Epic, the label seemed to mess with the band's music especially, on the later albums. This is the first album CT put out after leaving Epic. They sound much better on this album and the albums that followed.
Songs on CD:
MY GANG
WOKE UP WITH A MONSTER
YOU'RE ALL I WANNA DO
NEVER RUN OUT OF LOVE
DIDN'T KNOW I HAD IT
RIDE THE PONY
GIRLFRIENDS
LET HER GO
TELL ME EVERYTHING

The Best Voice In Rock!
Robin Zander's exquisite voice, full of heart & soul, is pure magic on this CD! Emotionally driven vocals are the best part of this well-crafted music. The style of songs varies. The sound is unique and more mellow than what I'm use to hearing from him, when he performs with Cheap Trick. 'Time Will Let You Know,' and 'Walking Shoes,' are my favs but, love every song especially, 'Show Me Heaven,' 'Everlasting Love,' and 'Secret.' Other artists who contributed to this CD include, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Jimmy Iovine, Don Felder, Maria McKee, Christina Amphlett, Rick Nielsen, and Tom Peterson. There are two great cover songs, Harry Nilsson's, "Jump Into The Fire" and Neil Young's, "I Believe In You." Besides delivering stunning vocals, Robin had a lot of input in producing, writing, and playing various instruments. I'd love it if he put out more CDs.

It's A Crime Not To Like This CD!
1 of 1 found this helpful The music is powerful, polished, but still edgy, and full of CT's exciting creativity. I love Tom's punky voice in "I Know What I Want." Robin's falsetto in "Voices" is intoxicating. "I'll Be With You Tonight" gets my heart pound'n like a drum drum drum drum DRUM DRUM DRUM YEAH! "Gonna Raise Hell" and "Dream Police" are rock masterpieces. All the songs are great. I never get tired of this CD.
