A good little hotplate

I use mine for heating up natural glue in a double boiler for violin making, and it does it well. The glue has to be heated to 70C which is around half-way on the dial. If im not gluing it keeps my cup of tea lovely and warm. An excellent purchase and an exceptional price! Thank you.

Button Shellac for Violin Varnishing

I bought this to use as violin and general french polishing varnish. I must say, it does the job excellently. The only gripe i have was with the description, it said amber brown (the colour i wanted) but after 6 coats at 4:1 it is just amber. The finish is gorgeous and i can live with the colour, but I'll be adding darker shades next time. But brilliant product!
