Philips Norelco Series 5000 Shaver 5500 Model S5370/81 NEW!!

Great razor!

I've used Norelco razors for decades. My previous one died and I had received a free Remington foil top razor a few months previous, so I pulled that one out. Granted, this was not one of their best models, but it was a horrible razor. You could easily see long whiskers that the Remington would miss no matter how many times and what angle you went over them. That, and it vibrated, a LOT. It was like holding a bag of angry hornets the entire time you were using it. Actually made your fingers and hand tingle by the time you were done. After a week, I gave up on it and bought this one. I hadn't had a Norelco with the floating top before. Easily, even a better Norelco than the one that died. It's especially nice to be able to pull the top off before running it under hot water to flush whiskers and such out. No chance of water getting into the body of the razor, which is what killed the old one, even though the manual said it was okay to do that. The 5500 is the sweet spot in the 5000 series. A much better razor than the 5200, and the only difference between it and the 5700 is 5 minutes run time. The 5700 simply isn't worth the extra $40 (average) for only a 5 minute difference of charge time. About as quiet as electric razors get, nice clean shave, easy to maintain. What's not to like?

Very nice wireless optional device. Especially where it's difficult to run an Ethernet cable.

Almost as fast as a wired Ethernet connection. Inexpensive and great little optional device.

Great deal in a four count.

Been using these for quite a few years now. I can't stand coffee and used to drink Diet Coke for my caffeine intake. It finally dawned on me that caffeine pills were MUCH cheaper than pop, and better for you by eliminating the NutraSweet/aspartame of diet pops, and the gobs of sugar in regular pop.
