Battery for Logitech L-LB2 2000 mAh Li-ion

Poor at Holding its Charge...

Having had my Logitech mouse for about five years, the existing battery was in need of replacement as it would only hold its charge for about two days during a couple of 8hr on-and-off gaming sessions. So I did a bit of searching and decided to go for this one. My first thought (when fitting) was "it's the wrong size" - which it is - it's not as wide as the OEM battery, but the length was correct and the plug was the same so I fitted it regardless. I was very happy to find that the battery came pre-charged and lasted almost a week before I was greeted with the red light of doom' which meant it was time to stick it in the charging cradle for the first time. After the first charge - that's when the problems started....... 5mins out of the cradle and the three green lights turned to two.... another hour and it was down to one. Less that three hours from being fully charged and it was showing the red light once more. Since then, after nearly 4 weeks of use, nothing has really improved so I've ordered a new wireless mouse. Conclusion? Probably got a dud battery that held its initial charge very well but didn't like being recharged. I wont be buying another.
