Does the job
I can't compare this to other systems as this is the only one i have used, but it has a random somewhat annoying buzzing sound. Pretty bad speakers for listening to music--no bass, very tinny--have to turn volume up all the way and then the high pitch is too much. Great for talking with other riders. The range is definitely line of sight--range greatly reduced when going around corners, started loosing reception pretty quickly when going around some corners and being not that far apart from other rider.
The version i have has the ability to plug in ear buds--that's a nice option--probably get better sound quality for music (haven't tried it).
I got a dual pack for $225--i would say if you can get it for no more than that price it is a good deal.

Good looking shield that seems to be of good quality!
The dark tint perfectly compliments the bike.
Didn't quite fit right, i had to drill out the mounting holes to a larger size for the fasteners to fit.
