Serves its purpose
I have toddlers, so my remotes disappear from time to time- into a black hole, apparently. The first thing I liked about this in comparison to other remotes is that it didn't need to be programmed. I was able to turn my tv on immediately after taking the remote out of the package. Being really nit picky- the gritty texture of it drives me nuts, especially after being used to the sleek feel of my old Samsung remote. The only bad thing I can say about this is that when using the left/right/up/down buttons, it often skips (hit "right" once, it moves to the right twice). It took me a good 10 min to sign into Hulu with the constant skipping of the buttons. For this reason, I may go ahead and order another Samsung remote and just keep this one as a back up. For the price, it's a decent value and gets the job done- primarily being used to power on/off and volume control.
