Bad prong connector

It was a little less expensive then the first exact one I purchased. But, this one came and the prong would not connect with the connector ( for lack of terminology) on the long side. I am very upset that I have to go through the trouble of returning it. I felt that it should have been checked before it was shipped and or fixable. But, I did not get any guidance on fixing it. That's why I am giving it 3 stars. But, my first one is working well for my herbs.
