ACTUALLY WORKS
Found out about this from Sarah Cheung's video, I have straight asian lashes and have to use waterproof mascaras just so it holds a curl, but even then my lashes droop down and arent a nice C curl anymore, however with this mascara base it looks EXACTLY the same when i first curled them. Def worth the price! Make sure you fully coat your lashes

Does not look like the photo
The sponges I received are the width of half the sponges that they have on the photo. From the photos I also expected it to be quite soft but instead it was quite rubbery
