A interesting overview of under age boys on the Western Front
1 of 1 found this helpful A great insight into the under age soldiers of the First World War. The book is well presented and draws on oral history to bring it to life. A welcome breadth of individuals and incidents was covered during the chronological overview of the war. With the centenary of the war approaching i recommend this as an alternative approach to considering how the Great War impacted upon society.
