Loctite 28654 Thread Repair Kit

I used this compound to rebuild a damaged extra fine threaded blind hole. I have been able to torque the stud/bolt up to 175 in lbs, the thread repair feels solid and secure. Please make sure to follow the directions on, cleanliness, work time, setting-up time, and the full cure time.

QUALITY COUNTS !!!! KNIPEX

Excellent product as you would expect from KNIPEX, they are expensive but you pay for what you get. I have broken 2 pairs of grips 250mm (Erwin & Faithfull) removing a blind housing 30mm dia pin the Knipex have been successful and not been deformed/strained.

A definite improvement over the original...

A definite improvement over the original 350Kg Ifor Williams model fitted to my 3.5t trailer, with the finer threaded on the handle shaft and tube it is far easier to adjust the raising and lowering of the trailer particularly when fully loaded. The addition of a grease nipple fitted at the top of the barrel saves having to remove and dismantle the jockey wheel assembly, giving access to regularly service the unit with grease. The larger wheel size really helps on uneven ground. BRILLIANT!!
