Innexpensively solves the problem
These tiny little ribbons with snaps solved a big problem and saved me about $75, which is what I would have had to spend on some sort of strapless shape wear had I not discovered them. The dress I wanted to wear had a very open boatneck, and my bra straps showed in the extra wide opening across my shoulders. I pinned these onto the dress's shoulder seam allowances, pushed my bra straps to the edges of my shoulders, secured them into the loops, and everything stayed in place during the special event. I believe these retainers most likely were designed to keep bra straps from slipping off the shoulders, and I am sure they would do that, too, but they solved my problem. wish I would have known about these little things long ago.

Exactly as promised
New fabric, cut to the specified length -- on a straight line! Fabric has a nice weight to it, washed up with little raveling and came faster than promised.
