Just what we needed
We have a 18th century Derbyshire limestone property and got penetrating damp problem due to spray from the road. The permanent cure is to tank the walls from inside but until such time we can afford it I thought I would apply 2 coats of waterproof protection as per the damp specialists advice. So far it's worked wonders. Whilst applying the second coat I could already see it working straightaway as the solution dripped down as opposed to being absorbed by the stones. The solution is silicon based, breathable and very easy to apply. Buy a pressure sprayer and it will do the job for you.
