Easy to put together and looks great
Bought on a whim in readiness for a hopefully good Summer, comes as a very heavy flat pack but has comprehensive instructions that made for relatively easy installation, though 2 persons make it much easier it can be. 1 person construction. When assembled it looks great and I love the variable height coal tray and multiple adjustable draught holes. Bottle opener for the hot chef is a nice touch and a bench for implements and plates. Easy clean grill plates and an interchangeable centre part of the grill for various styles of cooking

Competent smartphone, easy to use and much cheaper than the iphone
4 of 5 found this helpful I bought this phone as a phone to use when travelling to and from work as I didn't want to run the risk of my Iphone being pinched or damaged (long transit times through insalubrious areas) so basically this will be an apples for apples comparison with the Iphone (which I think is arguably currently the best smartphone available)
It is a nice handy size with relatively solid handling, although plastic it does not seem cheap and tacky.
It is easy to navigate round the home screens and select the widgets you require to fit onto the home screens, so will appeal to the novicers more than the heavy duty Android fans.
Original OS was Android 1.6 but is now officially upgradeable to 2.1 and through excellent sites like XDA developers and Modaco.com is further unofficially upgradeable to 2.3.7 though as with all custom ROMs, you take your chances.
the phone is a doddle to use as is the texts, though for people with monkey fingers like me, the text characters are fiddly but not insurmountable, this is where the text pad for the Iphone is much better as it suits my large fingers . I am sure that it would be much better with a stylus like the early XDA phones used, but who wants to really carry a stylus round with them?
The text system could be improved via downloads from the Android market, which is simplicity to use, but to use the official market you need to get a googlemail account, which is no biggie, but just means another password to remember.
Which brings us on to the Android market, which is great to use, though nowhere near as clear as the Iphone apps store, so yet again, though good, the Iphone beats it hands down.
Phone has 3g, Wifi (8.2)and GPRS for communications and GPS for navigation.
All in all, it is a very competent first Android phone for people who don't want to spend the daft money on Iphones.
Oh, and just as a heads up, the APN (access point name) for changing providers WAP and MMS configuration when unlocking and uising other SIM cards needs manually configuring on Android phones, unless you can download the APN for the provider from the Android market.
