Ideal storage case for die-cast car collectors.
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought one of these to store some of the Matchbox™ cars We'd been collecting over the past few months. These cases have proved so ideal for that purpose - We're sure they're good for keeping spools of thread organized but we already have a wooden case for our sewing notions - that We've ordered another and will get a few more as the need arises. Wish We'd found these sooner.

Could not get an image from this camera.
Obviously, this camera would only be of interest to collectors of vintage digital cameras. Even so it would be nice to extract an image from it. After having to take it apart and put it back together a couple times just to be able to read the LCD display, I was finally able to get a file onto a CF card. Alas, the file was a proprietary one unreadable to modern software. Since I use a Mac the Windows software included wasn't usable. If you have an old XP computer laying about this might still have some utility value but really, it's an obsolete low end camera best left forgotten.

The legend lives on in an excellent craft model
Bought this because we wanted a little wooden lake freighter like the one we had as a li'l swabbie. As built this is a serviceable bit of 'folksy' craft art. Wood is soft light and easy to sand. does absorb paint a bit so you'll need a couple coats. We added some card stock trim pieces to flesh out the look and some small nails for masts as well as a couple plastic lifeboats salvaged from an old kit. Also painted the superstructure in the Fitz's original yellow color. Fun little model of the seldom covered subject of lake freighters.
