Good value for money. Some learning required for frothing and cleaning
The Delonghi Magnifica ESAM 4200.S is a decently priced machine which reliably makes high quality espresso-based coffees.
This is my second machine of this make and model, after the first sadly broke following years of reliable service.
The machine is easy to use, but users may require some getting used to the frothing wand, if they would like to foam milk.
The machine does prompt users to run its cleaning and descaling cycle just around the time one might begin to notice an alteration in its outputs' taste. However, removing the brew unit for periodic cleaning of the machine's interior is also important and this is a step which should be emphasised for users.
Given the price, especially on this refurbished unit, I regard this machine as good value for money.
