Classic speaker, evolved from earlier greenback model. Considered by many to be holy grail rock speaker. I find the increased tighter bass response a plus. My go to is a g12m, as they perform well with a variety of tones. I find the scooped mids of the h somewhat troublesome. The h has an undeniable attack, when pushed hard. This is where this speaker excels. Because of the low power rating, 4x12 format is a must, unless you use it with a low power tube amp like ac15 or deluxe reverb. The British made greenback reissue g12h, is a well made new version. Many speaker vets note differences in speaker cone materials, contributing to sonic differences between original and modern equivalents. Prices on these speakers have skyrocketed as of late. A testament to their popularity.
