Poor image quality
1 of 1 found this helpful Having read some good reviews on this product and the manufacturer stating it had 99% sRGB colour space I decided to purchase one for photo editing. The item arrived brand new and sealed and was assembled in a couple of minutes, attaching the stand to the panel couldn't have been simpler.
When turning on for the first time I was greeted to a big bright screen and after going through the settings I settled on neutral mode with brightness at 23 and contrast at 65, this I thought would give a good starting point for screen calibration. After running the calibration process with a colorimeter the results were less than expected, you couldn't achieve good colours and blacks, it was also during this time that a very evident backlight bleed/IPS glow was present in the bottom corners which spread towards the middle of the screen, this was also very noticeable on a pure black screen.
Reluctantly and despite the slim sleek design which is very appealing I am in the process of returning this item for a refund due to the problems listed.
