One ear works intermittently
Wires seem to be faulty right out of the box at the plug connection. Double checked by plugging them into another device and having the same results.

broke in two while trying to install it

Defective
Cartridge was defective right out of the box. It left a line on the prints. I had to replace the primary charge roller.
