Caribina hooked
Having had plenty of tat in the past, found these to be of sufficient strength and quality for light general use. The hinge is of reasonable construction and operates smoothly. Springing is sufficient for light duties. Ideal to have around for hanging things on with reasonable confidence it's not going to fall off or become detached. Stainless being more durable than the light metal alternative which tend not to last very long.

Re thread worth a go
Having used it a few days have found it very useful.The overall diameter of the handle could be a bit wider to get a good grip on it.It appears to chase out existing threads very well however limited obviously to how badly damaged the thread is.Certainly worth having in the toolbox .Might save a back box from being replaced.
