A superb collector's item!
For fans of Allan Holdsworth and Chad Wackerman it is a definite recommendation from me. The presentation box is very large and sturdy and the gatefold two LP set is pressed on heavy vinyl running at 45 RPM. The CD is in a thick card gatefold case with a small booklet attached and sits snugly in a thick foam surround under the LP set. The quality of the music is the real draw of course and there is plenty of interest to keep Holdsworth and Wackerman fans very happy. Enjoy! (-:

A great edition of a classic sci-fi film.
1 of 1 found this helpful This film is of course an absolute classic and in this Blu Ray/DVD/download edition you are getting a nice selection of ways to view it. It looks glorious on the Blu Ray version and the soundtrack and score really do pop when played on a decent system. There is also an excellent hour-long documentary on the making of the film that was produced back in the 90s and is hosted by the star of the film Rob Taylor. This does not have the same visual quality as the Blu Ray of course. I was also pleased to see a range of art cards featuring images from the film etc. I was lucky to get this edition for £13 brand new which is a great price given that it usually sells for nearer £20. Highly recommended!

Poor quality VHS-type footage on a menuless DVD
A fair purchase for diehard fans but be warned, the video quality is shocking at times and there is no DVD menu to select tracks from. Put the DVD in your player and it simply plays through from start to finish with each track being a chapter. The tracks on the back of the DVD case are not numbered which compounds the problem of having no menu.
Overall, this DVD has the feel of a knock-off and some of the footage is available at far higher DVD quality on officially released DVDs with far higher standards of presentation.
