Not usable in small width wardrobes
I bought this to fit into my new Ikea 500mm wide wardrobe
However because it is the same mechanism that is used for much bigger widths it takes up so much of the wardrobe space that there is little room left to actually hang clothes in.
Also it is such a strong mechanism that i was unable to pull it down.
This would be a great item for a larger wardrobe & it of very high quality but I think it is misleading to say it would fit a 450 -500 width space
