Great of you need them, a bit overpriced, though
0 of 3 found this helpful They are a solid 3/8" mdf speaker box for certain Paradigm brand ceiling speakers. The boxes are well made and use a quality polyfill. There are two sets of terminals for easy access no matter the orientation of installation. The terminals are a high quality push and insert type.
The boxes may be installed in 16” or 24” joist cavities, although if not installing before drywalling, significant amounts of drywall will need removal.
The mounting straps are kinda crappy and cheap, if functional. Screws to attach the mountings to the joists, and the box4s to the straos are not included.
Worth the MSRP of $299 each? Hell no, but I'd gladly pay $100 for them to save building my own.
