It works just as I read in the reviews
2 of 2 found this helpful Used this on a 1.9tdi diesel with 2.75" straight pipe, but with original downpipe, without cats. Before installing the resonator 3rd gear pull with open windows, showed 93.2 dB, after installing the resonator 89.2 dB. (with closed windows 88.3dB - 86.9dB). The resonator made the sound much deeper and the car is quieter on the highway now. Overall I'm Impressed, but the car needs a downpipe and possibly a muffler...
