Good quality, with major construction design issue
11 of 12 found this helpful Very well made, cleary top quality, but has one major drawback, the back support bench board is resting on the main spine (metal bar) of about 1 1/2 inch wide, while the wood is soft pine or similar, hence any pressure on the side of the bench (e.g. doing triceps push ups or putting weight on it when doing one arm row can easily break the back wood board across, what should be done and what is always done in commercial grade benches is to put a metal plate under entire width and length of the back support wood board so the wood does not carry any weight. This is a major error in design, hence both dangerous and not usable for heavy lifting.
