Great lens for great price! takes good pictures for a third party lens!
This is a underrated lens which takes amazing photos, Macro feature at 1:2 is a killer although you have to stay away from the object. Highly recommended for budget buyers.

This is a forgotten DSLR! all canikon users use try out a Pentax ;)

If you have some old film era SLR Pentax K Bayonet prime lenses this will be a great way to save lots of money on buying new prime lenses (m42 users are not left behind too there is a adapter for that and if you get the correct adapter you are good!). I think it is the only Camera that supports backward compatibility without a problem. if you have lenses with A setting camera will give you amazing opportunity to get amazing pictures. IQ is way better than some entry level Canon cameras.
my only concern is wished it had more accessories like wireless flash triggers (with AAA batteries not CR2) more auto focus prime lenses that can afford (limited series are expensive) also video recording could have been better, wish it had a HDMI output

Better than Kit lens!
Good optics, much much better than the kit lens. comes with hood which is handy. Metal mount and good build quality.
