Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon DSLR Camera with Dock Mint Cond!
08 Mar, 2018
Outstanding lens
I had the sony/zeiss 35mm 1.4 on loan from sony at the same time as the Sigma arrived. With the MC-11, I was very impressed with the sigma art on my A7riii. Easily on par with the sony at 1/2 the price. Beautiful bokeh, incredibly sharp, perfect for environmental portraiture. It had a much better rendering than my 16-35mm 2.8 GM and that is saying a lot.

Neewer meike LCD 2.4GHz Wireless Remote Control Pro Battery Grip for SONY A6300

Remote is unreliable
The power grip works as it should, very helpful for remote use with the longer battery life. The included remote system is a mess. It seems to shoot when you trigger it, but it also shoots a bunch when not triggered. I set it up in the back of a discus cage for a national championship. although I triggered it to shoot about 60 shots at 11 fps, when I pulled it out of the ring, it took over 1000 images. This happened on 2 successive days. Had to go back to pocket wizards.

There is just nothing else like a 2B!
Having been born and bred on large bore tenor trombones, I have experimented with many .500 and smaller horns for lead and jazz work and everyone seemed to blow back at me. The conn 6H, 4H, king 3B, bach 16 just never blew freely for me. I stumbled across a vintage 2B at a music convention and simply could not believe how free blowing the dual bore (2B) configuration was. This is a fantastic pro horn, if you've never tried one, pick one up and you won't believe how well they play.
