Fantastic bagged cordless upright for the money, get one while you can before they are gone for good
The Hoover Cordless is just as powerful as a regular corded upright vacuum. It's so much more convenient to not have to fight with a cord. Seems to really pick up dirt well and leaves the nice carpet lines, grooms and lifts pile nicely.
A few cons:
Batteries take several hours to charge, I got about 15-20 minutes and the battery was almost dead.
I don't have a super huge area to vacuum so I can easily live with that.
If you have a huge house with a ton of carpet, you probably won't be able to vacuum the whole house with just one battery, have the 2nd battery charged and ready to go.
If the batteries last a couple years, I'll be happy.
I priced the batteries and they are expensive to replace, like any other device with batteries, after many charge cycles and age, performance will decrease, so replacing the batteries every few years will most likely be necessary.
I'm sad that Hoover and Oreck stopped making the cordless uprights, hoover still has other ONEPWR vacuums but they seemed to have went the bagless route. No thank you. I just hope battery replacements will be in stock if and when it comes time to release them.
