china vs indonesia workmanship
I have had lots of experience with fenders squier classic vibe series and love the ones from china fretwork was perfect on the 20 or more I've owned and worked on, but the ones made in Indonesia at the cort factory lack the workmanship of the instruments made in china.Now this squier classic vibe jazzmaster that i bought at a great price arrived with high frets, tool marks all over the frets very gritty. almost unplayable, but it sounded so great, so i did a complete fretboard reconditioning, fret leveling and had to polish every fert, and after a neck shim a new set of string and a day of work, this thing is great but not what what i expected for a brand new instrument. My fix is make the necks in china and send them to the cort factory, or send the workers to china and show they how to do it right.
