A great series
The 3rd installment of the Joe Pickett books continues with new problems and his efforts to overcome them. A great read.

Good for hiking in the parks
I got this hoping that it might have a few hikes just outside of the parks, which would be dog friendly. But other than 1 or 2, no. Having said that, it is a very good book on hikes in both parks, and includes a hike in Red Canyon. If you’re not familiar with the hikes in one or both of the parks, this book will help you decide what hikes are best for you.

Good all regions player
While I have only used this player once to make sure that it worked, the set up was easy. I played a PAL DVD in it and worked fine, with good quality (although it was played on a 29” TV in a RV).
