Caldwell 571429 Xla 9-13 Inch Bipod Pivot Model Black

Fell Apart

I purchased a Firefield and Calwell bipods at the same time and was amazed at the difference in the two. Although Caldwell is the most well known of the two the quality of their product was poor, it came with a little plastic tube holding the sling mount bracket open. When I removed the plastic tube the whole mounting bracket fell out of the bipod. Whereas the Firefield bipod was all one piece and solid it was also easily installed. I also paid about $6.00 more for the Caldwell it always cost more for the name brand. I guess Caldwell is becoming like Hopps and putting their name on Chinese junk in order to make a dollar.
