Badly made product, consider other options
I wanted a space saving punching bag wall bracket, this seemed to fit the bill, i have had other RDX products before, but this one lacks in quality, Firstly the cross sections that bolts onto the wall are not completely square or straight, which makes it quite difficult to mount on the wall. the packaging i felt was also inadequate as a metal part was sticking out of the box when it arrived, therefore causing chips in the powder coating, which is not good if you were going to use it outdoors. Then the swinging mechanism is good for space saving, however when using the punching bag the arm swings about A LOT. the top latch is spring loaded and will fit into the holes of the arm with a lot of give, the bottom screw bolt to tighten up is useless, there is no hole in the bottom of the arm, it simply just presses up against the metal arm, which does nothing to secure the arm from not moving. the only upsides are, just space saving (can swing the arm all the way left or right and locks in place) and that the swinging mechanism is easy to operate when you want to move it quickly out of the way.
