Interesting watch

I bought one of these based on some videos I saw about them. There are some things I wish I’d known before I bought one. Nothing bad, just things I wish I’d known. The crown is very wobbly. I thought it was defective but I guess this is a design element on the Vostok watches. Apparently it prolongs the watch’s life. The bezel does not click like most other watches. It rotates and stays in place but doesn’t click. Don’t go from the position where you adjust time directly to where you wind it. Adjust the time, push the crown back in and screw it down then unscrew it and then wind it. The strap that came with it was not the greatest and was extremely small for my rather large wrist. I ended up buying a NATO strap for it and it is comfortable to wear and very lightweight. This is not a luxury watch by any stretch of the imagination but it is kind of quirky and kind of cool and people that notice it ask me about it. It is a good conversation starter and kind of a cool piece of history. This particular one is hard to find right now. I ordered mine on eBay from someone in Russia. Other places online were sold out. Vostok does make a lot of other watches that are available elsewhere. I bought a second one off of Amazon that also has a date complication.
