An Interesting Education On the Big Block Chevy
Well written. Full of the rich history of the engine. Fair analysis of Mark IV, Gen V and Gen VI engines and their unique parts. Not just a book for building KILLER engines. It provides more than enough information to build any level of engine you require. Lots of charts included to help identify casting and registration numbers. Very easy to read, especially if you already know what you think you want which may turn out to be wrong for your needs. If it is, you'll find that info in this book too.

The premium Verbatim is the best
2 of 2 found this helpful I used to use Memorex DVD+R DL to record my projects, but I started having higher than normal failure rates. I investigated on the net and learned that Verbatim was the best, although there was a note that Verbatim Life series was not very good. So I paid the premium price for the premium Verbatim and I can honestly say that I couldn't be more pleased. Every project creation is now stored without error. I was even able to go back and use my favorite DVD writing program again. I had to stop using it with the Memorex media because of the intolerably high number of writing failures and discarded DVDs. I'll only use Verbatim from now on.

Excellent chromed off-road shroud
Very substantial and rigid fan shroud for vehicle applications that don't have a heater, like my off-road sand rail. By eliminating the unused heater ports from the fan shroud, there is more air available to pass through the engine cooling fins as well as the dog house ducting which cools the engine oil cooler on the later engines. In off road applications, the VW engine is out in the open and visible at all times. If the heater ports are not needed, the smooth engine shroud looks better without the unused heater ducts that would need to be sealed if they were present.
