Best antenna on the market today
3 of 3 found this helpful Antenna was received promptly in factory packaging. Hooked up to Astatic SWR meter after installing and almost zero standing wave on my Cobra LTD 29 CB. I'm getting about 10 to 12 mile talk range in the daytime in town without any added power. I highly recommend this antenna.

1 of 1 found this helpful I just put a Bandit 120w / 10 AMP noise filter on my CB in an effort to eliminate the whining noise cause by the engine rpm's. It didn't seem to help too much but did help some. It my perform better if I one have the CB radio connected to it. I have an external mic amp/echo box on my radio and I have the radio and echo box wired together using the same power and ground supply. It could be that I need to remove the echo box from the wiring harness as the filter may not be powerful enough to filter more than one device.
